Luxury usually equates to elements from a specific brand or label, and for many, those labels equate status.
Basic style is anything but average. Average is everyday random selections without thought. Basic style is all about having certain key elements in life that you know truly represent what you want to project. And no matter what that chosen style selection is, clean and classic, something with a little edge, or possibly a fusion of both. Style has nothing to do with price. Itโs all about how the style complements you, how it fits and hangs on your body, and most importantly, how you feel in that specific selection.
Stop dressing for others and dress for yourself! Stop conforming to the idealization of status and perceived value by others. Oh, and stop wearing items that are on trend because that is what others are wearing. Most add in a trendy piece of clothing, without even being aware of how that specific selection hangs on their body.
Many put a great deal of thought into what they wear and how that style represents their overall look and feel for the day. Someone who consciously dresses first for themself, and then second for the experience they will be involved with that day. That is someone who stands out in a room. Not by the label or chosen brand. But as someone who understands and respects themself. This is the ultimate form of luxury. Luxury is not price or craftsmanship, but is defined by selectiveness. Yep, that is truly quiet luxury. Those who know that the element of choice, truly and completely, embodies who they are.

Personal style is such a tell to others. It states that Iโm comfortable in a non-conforming way, and I nurture my soul. I donโt have to live up to your expectations, nor appear to be something enviable through applications of status (labels or brands).
